Hats off to the University of Chicago on its official launch of the Richard and Mary L. Gray Center, the now-headquarters for incentivizing the development of arts-curious projects between U of C people, and not so U of C people (in the first year, notably, architect Jamie Carpenter & physicist Sidney Nagel; Tony Kushner & the Court Theater; and choreographer Claudia Lavista in a collaboration with composers Shulamit Ran, and Augusta Read Thomas, and musicologist, Martha Feldman).
