Salon videos are finally up! Shame on me for taking two weeks to do this. A couple disclaimers. The room is dark. (What can you do?) Also, the Blogger format frequently cuts these videos short on the right-hand side, as many of you have pointed out to me. But wait, there's good news! Because if you want to look at the videos (in full view) on YouTube, I've included that possibility as direct links. Now eat cake.
First up, Maggie Mascal performing a version of Berio's Sequenza III as sociological experiment audience interruptions & verbal reactions are encouraged in Mascal's Shequenza). Have a look. Maggie Mascal 1.
Maggie Mascal (2)
Next up, Teddy Rankin-Parker (cello, voice and a variety of percussion) & Alexander Overington (all manner of technology) in a workshop performance of a commission from Opera Cabal for its new Opera Raw series. Alex & Teddy on YouTube.
And finally, performance artist David Lakein (on YouTube).
